Manitha Neyam Trust believes in long term solutions to eliminate poverty. Education is the key in empowering the community to contribute positively towards the effort of poverty elimination.
We sponsored an education program focused on increasing the success rate of students sitting for scholarship examinations: Ordinary level (O level) examination and Advanced level (A level) examination. This program was implemented in the villages of Thirukkovil, Kalmunai and Sammandurai in the Amparai district of Sri Lanka. 854 Students from 27 schools from these areas are to be benefitted through this project.
This project was formally inaugurated from 1st of November. We thank the donors and well-wishers for the support and enabling us to take part in this wonderful project!
