Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu districts have been the most affected due to the war in Sri Lanka. Though many years have passed since the war ended, the effects can still be seen in the citizens. Due to latent development and the current economic crisis, daily life has increasingly become difficult, especially for those who were disabled during the war.

To provide relief, Manitha Neyam Trust is funding the prosthetic limbs project in these districts. The beneficiaries are happy with the quality of the prosthetics and believe it will help them to have independence for their movement and employment.

Manitha Neyam Trust was able to provide over 250 custom prosthetic limbs during the year 2021 and 2022 and continues to organize such clinics in the areas to help the people in need. We thank our donors for their generous contribution to support causes like this!
