Manitha Neyam Trust recently sponsored a Tuition Class project to Vammiyadiuththu village area students, initiated by the Science Association of Batti-Ampara.
The purpose of the Tuition Class project is to assist students from lower-income families to excel in their ordinary level examinations, specifically in their Math, Science, and English subjects.
The project expects to deliver the following results:
- Reduce the number of students failing in Math, Science, and English subjects.
- Increase the number of students getting enrolled to advanced level education.
- Help students from low-income families to get quality education.
Approximately 120 students from grades 10 and 11 will benefit from this project in selected schools in the Batticaloa region. Some of the pictures here, were taken during the inauguration, where we met with students and their parents.
We will be providing more updates from this project as the months go on.
