Special tuition classes for grade 5 students who are sitting for their scholarship examinations were organized and successfully conducted by a qualified tutor at Batticaloa/Vantharumoolai Kannaki Vidyalayam with the financial sponsorship of Manitha Neyam Trust.
This project was jointly executed by the Vivekananda Community Foundation. They organized and engaged in continuous monitoring of the program, with 30+ students participating in the tuition classes. The students who successfully pass the examination are entitled for a monthly scholarship from the government, thus this program is an investment to ease their future educational expense burden.
