With the goal of fostering engagement in learning and teaching through modern technology, the Smart Classroom at Palamunai Palamurugan Vidyalayam was officially inaugurated on November 22, 2024. The event was spearheaded by the school principal, Mr. N. Buvindran.
This skill development classroom was generously funded by the Manitha Neyam Trust and facilitated by the Batti-Amparai Science Association.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. C. Siritharan, Zonal Education Director of Pattiruppu; Mr. V. Yathurshan and Mr. T. Kopinath of the Batti-Amparai Science Association; Mr. N. Logithan, Treasurer; Mrs. Inbaraja, Secretary of the School Development Society; the school’s vice-principal; teachers; development officers; members of the Science Union Organization; journalist Mr. Gilasan; students; parents; and alumni.
In recognition of their invaluable contributions, the school community presented a token of appreciation to Mr. V. Yathurshan, representing the Manitha Neyam Trust, and honored Mr. T. Kopinath for the efforts of the Batti-Amparai Science Association.
