Education is the foundation of a brighter future, and for many students in Sri Lanka, the Ordinary Level (O-Level) examination is a pivotal milestone shaping their academic and career paths. Understanding the challenges faced by underprivileged students, the Manitha Neyam Trust (MNT), in partnership with the Hindu Educational Society, took a meaningful step to support them by sponsoring a nationwide O-Level preparation exam across 25 districts.
This initiative has empowered over 100 schools by providing a structured platform to assess students’ knowledge, identify learning gaps, and refine their exam strategies. By mirroring the official O-Level format, the preparation exam has helped students become more confident with the exam structure, time management, and key subject areas.
