In continuation of efforts to enable IT education focused on skill development, to increase future job prospects, another computer lab was inaugurated at the Poonagar, Echilampatru in Trincomalee district. This project was executed via Hindu Youth council and funded by the Manitha Neyam Trust Youth Group.
This is the fourth computer lab inaugurated with the sponsorship of MNT; the first lab is in Batticaloa district, Mayilambaveli Girls Home, second lab is located in Mullaitivu district Shri Saradha Home, and the third lab is in Verugal. It is noteworthy that the trainings are designed and conducted according to the target groups.
We strongly believe that this initiative will create more opportunities for the community and the next generation will be ready to take up IT job opportunities from the villages.
