Iranai Iluppaikulam GTM School is a rural village school in the Mannar district. This school had a well that was abandoned, and beyond repair. For years, the students and teachers had to bring drinking water from home, with no place at school to refill their water.
“Pazhagalaam Vaango,” a community organization in the USA, funded this project and reached out to Manitha Neyam Trust for their partnership to implement.
Now, we are happy to see the well in operation, available for all school students and teachers to have fresh water throughout the day. Thanks to the donors for reaching out to us to partner on this project!
