Cyclone Burevi devastated the northern part of Sri Lanka recently. Over 85,000 individuals from 25,000 families were affected by the cyclone in the Jaffna district.
Manitha Neyam Trust received an appeal from the Divisional Federation of Youth Club of Maruthankerny, to provide relief to the affected families. Manitha Neyam Trust honored the request and made arrangements to provide relief worth Rs. 300,000. Relief packages were distributed by the youth club. We hope this relief will support them as they look to repair damages from the cyclone.
