In late January, the Manitha Neyam Trust launched another milestone project in Jaffna to empower the differently-abled community. The Trust is also giving importance to sustainable and environmentally-friendly projects.
On 24th January 2020, the Manitha Neyam Trust inaugurated the Areca Leaf Utensils Manufacturing Plant at the Sivapoomi Vocational Training School in Kondavil, Jaffna. This inauguration function was graced by Mrs. Kailasapillai – Chairperson, Manitha Neyam Trust and Dr. Aru Thirumurugan – Founder, Sivapoomi Trust.
This plant expects to provide necessary vocational training to the differently-abled community at Sivapoomi School by adopting sustainable living solutions, herewith we share some of the images during the inauguration function.
