A computer learning center was inaugurated at the Sri Sarada Welfare Center of the Ramakrishna Mission, Karaithivu, in February this year, to enhance digital education opportunities for students.
The inauguration took place with the sacred presence of Revered Srimat Swami Suhitananda Ji Maharaj, Vice President of the global Ramakrishna Math and Mission, and was graced by the presence of nine Ramakrishna Mission monks.
The VCOT Computer Learning Center, affiliated with the Ramakrishna Mission Human Development Training Institute in Karaithivu, was officially opened with much enthusiasm.
This computer classroom was established with the financial support of the Manitha Neyam Trust.
Distinguished guests at the event included Mrs. Kailasapillai, Chairperson of the Manitha Neyam Trust, Mr. K. Aravinthan, the Trust’s USA Representative, and Mr. Kandappan Pradeeswaran, Director of the Vivekananda College of Technology.
The center aims to enhance students’ technology skills through basic computer training, equipping them for future career paths. Srimat Swami Neelamadhavananda Ji Maharaj, of the Ramakrishna Mission, Batticaloa, emphasized that the center will serve as a hub for computer education, fostering technological expertise among youth and preparing them for the evolving digital world.
