In the effort to increase IT education focused on intellectual development and future job prospects, another computer lab was inaugurated Kathiraveli in Batticaloa district. The project was executed through the Hindu Youth Council and funded by the Manitha Neyam Trust Youth Wing.
40 students have been identified for the training program, and we predict more children will get be able to benefit in the future.
This is the fifth computer lab inaugurated with the sponsorship of MNT. The first lab is in Batticaloa district, Mayilambaveli children’s home, the second lab is located in Mullaitivu district at Shri Saradha home, the third & fourth labs are in Verugal and Poonagar in the Tincomalee district.
We strongly believe that this initiative will create more opportunities for the community and the next generation will be ready to take up IT sector opportunities in the villages and beyond.
