Manitha Neyam Trust is always prepared to help students and schools, as we strongly believe that education is the main avenue to eliminating poverty. We strive to give “the passport to the future” to the much deserving students in the poverty-stricken areas in Sri Lanka.
MNT donated school exercise books, uniforms, shoes, school bags, and learning equipment to needy students in the Amparai district. We were able to do this through Sivaneri Arappani Manram of Kalmunai, who distributed supplies to the student community.
We believe this donation will give some financial relief to these students as they start the school year in this pandemic. About 350 students from 19 schools and 8 religious schools benefitted through this project.
