100 families in the Puthukkudiyiruppu, Manmunai Pattu, and Vellaveli areas were heavily affected due to the floods during the month of January. As a result, they were temporarily displaced.
These families were accommodated at temporary shelters, so as a helping hand to them, Manitha Neyam Trust stepped in to provide them with dry rations. We were able to distribute to them with the help of the Vivekananda Community Foundation. Now, all the families are returned to their houses to resettle.
