Manitha Neyam Trust’s Third Quarter Educational Initiatives in the East – October 07, 2025

Manitha Neyam Trust has made significant contributions to improving educational infrastructure and resources for students across multiple districts in Sri Lanka’s East.

Smart Classroom Implementation

The Trust has successfully established smart classrooms at two key institutions:

Thiruvalluvar Maha Vidyalayam in Poonagar, Echilampattu, Thirukkonamalai District, has been equipped with modern smart classroom facilities, bringing digital learning opportunities to students in this area.

Hewanampity Tamil Maha Vidyalayam in Karapola, Muthugala, Polonnaruwa, has similarly benefited from the Trust’s smart classroom initiative, ensuring students have access to contemporary educational technology.

These smart classrooms represent a significant step forward in bridging the digital divide and providing students with enhanced learning environments that incorporate modern teaching tools and technology.

Exercise Book Distribution Program

Beyond infrastructure development, Manitha Neyam Trust, through the Science Association of Batticaloa-Ampara, has demonstrated its commitment to supporting day-to-day educational needs by distributing exercise books across a wide network of schools. This program has reached 31 schools, directly impacting over 476 students by ensuring they have essential learning materials.

Through these combined efforts in both technological infrastructure and basic educational supplies, Manitha Neyam Trust continues to play a vital role in advancing educational opportunities and supporting student success across multiple districts in the East during the third quarter of 2025.
