Sri Lanka is going through a series of power shortages triggered by the continuing drought and fuel supply issues. Households, workplaces, education establishments, and health services are heavily affected by the continuing power shortages.
Hospitals in the small rural villages are finding it difficult to store the life-saving medications to treat patients during the power outages. Manitha Neyam Trust donated a small generator to the Nallur Medical Health Clinic; this generator will be helpful to the hospital to run the required equipment and treat the patients during the power outages.
Dr. A. Jeyakumaran from MOH Nallur, received the generator from our representatives at Sri Subramanya Kottam.
Thank you to our donors and well-wishers for your generosity!
