The Noolaham Foundation is a digital library and archive of historical multimedia about Sri Lankan Tamils. This preserve includes books, magazines, newspapers, manuscripts, images, oral histories, videos, audio recordings, maps, data sets and many other types of media relating to Sri Lankan Tamil history. The Foundation was started in 2005, and formally incorporated as a nonprofit in 2010. Over the past decade, the foundations work has matured into a major memorial institution. All of the Foundations resources are digitally preserved to provide free and open access of the knowledge and cultural heritage of Sri Lankan Tamil communities. It is a volunteer-driven, community supported, non-profit organization (GA 2390) based in Sri Lanka.
