The Manitha Neyam Trust or Love for Humanity Trust has responded to the cry of children, the disabled and elders by way of supporting innumerable projects across Sri Lanka.
It commenced operations in 1999 to provide charitable and social services to the less privileged and is registered as an approved charity by the Ministry of Social Services in Sri Lanka. The trust has offices in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada.
Chairman's Review
On the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Manitha Neyam Trust we rededicate ourselves to the cause of humanity for the sake of the love of humanity. At no point in time have our services and role been more necessary, than at this juncture when it seems that all suffering has ended and peace has been restored. The reality, as we know, is that thousands of IDPs still remain to be dealt with and they are still fresh from their experience of confinement. While we have been experiencing a return to a life sans war and strife, theirs has been one of untold suffering and wasted years.
